Our water softeners are certified by the NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) to ANSI Standard 44 for cation exchange water softeners. While the NSF minimum is 3,350 grains of hardness removal per pound of salt, AquaMaster® delivers an impressive 5,500 grains — using 40% less salt than the minimum requirement.
